It was peaceful relaxing and enjoying

You get what you pay for. The house could use lots of updates and repairs. The couch had lots of stains, the porch is not in great condition, the outdoor shower is not usable, the front door seems to be rotting, the shower was difficult for my tall husband to use. The kitchen seemed to have been recently updated and the beds were clean and comfy. For the price and location on a quick trip to the beach, it was fine for my family. I probably wouldn't stay again, though.

Has been updated from last year kitchen looks great. Everything was satisfactory. Need a new showerhead for downstairs when you come from the beach.

This place was great for our family. It could definitely use a little updating and fixing up. Considering the price of this place compared to other rentals, this was great for what we needed. Most of our time was spent exploring the island, so we mostly just slept and ate breakfast here. The location is great, you can see the ocean from the porch and the beach is a block away. It's right off the bike path, so we were able to ride our bikes into town and to all the restaurants. The only negatives was that it has a very musty smell if the fans aren't constantly running.

Cozy, charming and conveniently located. Only downfall was internet quality, but we didn't go to a beautiful island to watch Netflix. Two thumbs up!

No WiFi!!!! Unit was probably cleaned ok by housekeeping; however overall it was very dirty - walls, doors, etc. Very outdated. Needs total makeover, furniture, etc. Kitchen needs new cookware/bakeware. Outdoor lights need bulbs replaced. Seal on doors broken - cannot even see out. Blinds broken. No place in kitchen for groceries. Grill cannot be used. Overall condition was very poor.

We had a phenomenal trip! The house was perfect for our family of four. The only issue we had was that the television was not a "smart" tv so we couldn't connect our hotspot and watch streamed shows at night.

At first when me and my husband pulled up to the house we thought oh this going to be great and what a cute little beach house but then I walked in side. The whole house needs to be updated. There is no wifi. The seal on the front door needs to be replaced, there is a gap at the top of the door and the blinds need to be replaced on it too. All the doors, walls and celling are discolored. The living room furniture was stained/faded, I put a sheet on the couch so we could sit comfortably on it. The fan also didn't work. The dinning room table/chairs had chipped paint and need to be cleaned. The kitchen appliances and pots/pans need to be replaced, the refrigerator has rust spots all over the outside of it thankful the inside was clean. The stove is really old and does not work properly, felt uneasy trying to use it. I could go on with a few other things we saw. I get that this is an older beach house but for the price you pay to stay you expect it to look nice and for appliances to work right. The pictures on the website do not match up with what you end up getting.

Great place to stay

very good -- Casamar really needs a good through cleaning -- it is so dusty/blinds corners etc. (I know this isn't something cleaning crew has time to do) maybe the owners etc. could put in for/pay for a deep cleaning sometime. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay-- Anytime I call Suncoast the staff is so very nice & helpful-- the staff at Suncoast really are THE BEST
