The island features a number of gift and clothing shops - you can even get beach supplies, books and even rent a bicycle or video here. Nearby Apalachicola features many old waterfront buildings and historic homes that are worth a scenic drive across the bridge to this historic port town.  St. George Island and surrounding areas feature an amazing variety of culinary choices. Fresh seafood? Of course!
